At the invitation of the Department of Social and Human Sciences at the Partium Christian University, Dr. Bert Roor, a teacher at Christelijke Hogeschol Ede, met with members of the department on 23 November 2018. As a result of the discussion, the details of the student exchange program planned for the second semester of this year were outlined. According to this, five Dutch students will spend two weeks in Oradea in the first half of March, and in return, in May, five PCU social worker students will travel to the Netherlands.
The purpose of the visits is for the participating students to establish personal contacts that go beyond the one-time meeting; to gain knowledge about each others' society and culture based on their own experiences ; to learn about the challenges faced by churches, especially in the field of mission and diaconia; by joining the international learning community, gain additional knowledge that will be used later in their own places of service. According to our plans, the student exchange will be the first step in a long-term cooperation between the Partium Christian University and the Ede Christian University social worker trainings.
